Biography
Nowadays are a small town rock band founded in the early 2000’s by Songwriter and Guitar player Sagi Real Naveh, Bass player Thomas Levy and Drummer Liav Noy in the southern city of Eilat, Israel. Playing punk rock originals and covers at rock venues in Israel. The band added songwriter and Singer Annabelle Jean and together released their first EP titled “an EP of demos” in 2007 and headed on to the UK to experience life on the road and share Nowadays music with the world. On 2008 after winning a Single recording in a band contest, the band entered the studio with Artist/Producer Jonathan Dagan (J.Views) and recorded the single “Zero”. Returning to Eilat the band joined hands with Guitar player Liron Tzadok and Producer/Engineer Ron Banano at Banano’s recording studio to record the full 17 songs album titled “Cut-Out” releasing it on February 2014, followed by a tour in Israel. The band took a long break for family life, while working on materials for their second album. Recording of 11 songs took place over the years at Ron Banano’s studio and feature collaborations with musicians: Drummer Tslil Keren, Bass player Yali Librach, Guitar player Nir Bar-on, Bass player Jonathan Kehaty, Singer Ella Swissa and Guitar player Tom Benizri Levi. The mix was handed to Producer/Engineer Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) at his seattle based recording studio “Laundry Room Studio” and the mastering to Ed Brooks (Pearl Jam, REM). The album titled “Theodora” released June 2022.
